Paula's and Brian's new experiences in Figueras!

Today, 18th of May 2010, I and Brian went to Figueras with 4C and our English teachers, and had a very good time together!!

We asked the majority of people that were in the Dalí Museum, but only THREE PEOPLE, wanted to answer our questions... -.-''. Now we think that the tourists don't want to waste their time with interviews and more.



Well, now we're going to show you our two interviews:

OK, that is the first interview that we do in the morning. The second and last interview, we did it to two persons that come from England. They didn't want to got recorded, so we'll write the conversation. ;) ________________________________________________________________

Paula: Excuse me, do you speak English?
Man: Mhmm Yes, but no no, I don't want to...
Woman: Oh yes!!
Man: No, Ingrid, not now..
Paula & Brian: Please! It's for a project for high school!! :'(

1. Where are you from?
We are from England.

2. Are you on holidays here? Are you having a good time?
Yes, well, we have an apartment in Banyoles, and every year we stay here for two months, and yes, we're having a very good time.

3. Why did you choose Catalonia for your holidays?
Because here there is a lot of sun and good beaches, and good weather.

4. Where are you staying?
In Banyoles, for two months.

5. Are you with a group? How many people are you with?
No, we aren't with a group.

6. How long are you staying in Catalonia/Spain?
For two months.

7. Do you speak Spanish or Catalan?
No, but we understand some things.

8. Do you think people here speak good English?
Yes, usually.

9. Have you visited other places in Catalonia/Spain?
Hmm, País Basc, Cantabria, Madrid, Barcelona... a lot.

10. Which place did you like best?
Barcelona, and País Basc.

11. Which didn't you like so much?
Figueras, it's not so big.

12. What do you think of the Dali Museum?
It's good, but we prefer the beach.

13. Do you like Catalan/Spanish food?
Not so much.

14. Have you bought any souvenirs?
No, and we won't buy.

15. Are Catalans/Spanish friendly in your opinion?
No so much. Spanish more than Catalans, but no, no.

16. Would you like to come back again?
Yes, we usually return here.

This is the last interview that we did, because nobody want to participate with our project. At least we asked to 15 people, but anyone wanted to do it. We were so angry, and are.

"Tonto", that's what I say to Brian friendly when I want to get him angry. :3 But she didn't still today.

I remember the first time we talked, in the bar of Empuriabrava, can diferent. It was really strange... She started to shout at me: Heyy!! It's nice too see you out of school!!
but I didn't understand much because the music was so loud. But it was a nice meeting :) .

Then, we began to talk in the school, because we were (and are) in the same class. We cannot explain the most information of us because this is a text of school, and we (at least, I) don't want to, it's personal.

Finally we can say that we are best friends, and we like it :D XD

Experiences*

Experience: I've travelled to Belgium.

Lesson: There, the people spend a lot of time in home with the family, they don't pass a lot of time outside, they prefer stay in home warmer. They eat a lot of pralines, and less fruit. The meat it's insipid, but the beer and the stewed are good.

Experience: I've got a lot of diferent friends.
Lesson: There are basically three types of friends:

• Good friends. Normally these friends are the friends of the infancy. There aren't too much persons in these group, even so, sometimes you think that you have a lot of good friends, but really you have 3, or 4. A real friend is there for the good things and the bad things. You can always take his hand if you have to...
  

• Bad friends. This group is for the people that you think that are good friends, or common friends, but then, you see that they're fools. Soon, or later, or never, until they play a dirty to you. The worst bad friend that can exist it's the false, the worst person you can have around.
  

• Common friends. This group include the people that you know, or you have in class, and you can rely on, but they don't understand or help you like the good friends. If you need help, they try to help you, and they are kind!

Experience: Fall off bike a lot of times.
Lesson: I will not catch a bike if there is not a extreme situation, or a very good trip. I hate bicicles, and I've hurt a lot of times for them.

Question 4. THE FANCY DRESS PARTY. Are the costumes important?

I think that the costumes are important because they tell you things of the characters.

Concert: Airbourne?

This 25th of february I, my father, my mother, Kevin, and Cristian went to a concert of Airbourne, a very good group. His style is like AC/DC and Accept.

But, the matter is, that... THE CONCERT WAS CANCELLED!!! what a pitty. And the most impressionant is that some friends went to Barcelona in the morning, and they didn't call us...

Well, we went for a walk in Barcelona, and there was a lot of people, basically metal people, the people that was going to go to the concert, and we told between us the notice.

There were people that came from Valencia to Barcelona for the concert, and they had to drink a beer, and return to home. What a pity...

The concert will be in Barcelona the 11th of April, and we will go again to Barcelona.

What a pity that we had to return to our houses without concert, without metal!!!

Dimebag Darrell, my idol!!

Dimebag Darrell is my idol because he was a very speacial guitarrist. He played so good and so diferent than any other guitarrist, and he was so genuine. His solos and riffs were perfect and his style was very original.

Pantera was his band, but then he went to another band, leaving Pantera. It's name was Damageplan, but all his fame and the best music he could do was with Pantera.

Now, he's dead, and now I'm gonna tell us why.

Dime has been murdered meanwhile was doing a concert the 8th of December of 2004 in a night club in Columbus, Ohio. Nathan Gale, he was 25 years old, from Marysville, he came into the club at 10 pm, when the concert has just began. Gale went to the left side of the concert hall, and he went directly to the right side, where there was Dime. Gale took Dime for the shoulder, and he shot to Dime's head two times. Dime died immediately at 38 years old.

Gale killed Halk, and Thompson, and hurting Paluska. Gale caught Brooks, but the policeman James D. Niggermeyer, the brother of Dime, shot to him in the neck, killing him.

The policeman James D. Niggermeyer went then to the jury. Niggermeyer has been declared innocent and praised. He's a hero for the fans and friends of Pantera and Dimebag Darrell. He's an hero... but, now Dime is dead, and no one can do metal like he could do it. He was the god of the thrash metal. The god of the gods of the thrash metal...

If I could do anything to relive he, his power, the god, the incarnation of thrash metal music, I'll do it immediately, that's for sure. I admire you Dime, and you will never die. The comunity of metal will always remember you, and if they one day they forget you (impossible), you'll stay in my heart for ever, in my soul forever, because you are the best guitarrist that I've ever listened in the world. Your passion, your style, and your character... so hard... you'll be in our heart, and in my heart, FOR EVER!!!

I'm sure that we and I will never forget you.
